Our roll-off dumpsters start at $365 for a 14-yard, $465 for a 20-yard, and $795 for a 30-yard. You approve that number before we dispatch, and it covers delivery, your fill window, and pickup.
That is the whole answer. What follows is the part that matters more: why quotes from different companies are so hard to compare, and where the extra money usually hides.
What the price includes
Delivery to your address, the rental window we agree on when you book, and pickup and disposal when you are done. One number, approved up front.
We do not add a weight surcharge after the load hits the scale. We do not run a daily rate in the background while you are waiting on a contractor. If the project runs long, you call us before the window closes and we work it out rather than billing you for a surprise.
Why the cheapest quote is often not the cheapest price
Dumpster pricing is genuinely hard to compare because companies structure it differently. A quote that looks lower on the phone can land higher on the invoice. Four things usually explain the gap.
Weight allowance. Many quotes include a tonnage cap, and everything past it is billed per ton at the back end. You find out what you actually owe after the container is gone and weighed. A low headline price with a tight cap is a common shape.
Daily rate after a short window. Some rentals include only a few days, then charge per day. If your contractor slips a week, which contractors do, that adds up quietly.
Delivery and pickup billed separately. Sometimes the quoted number is the rental only, with trip charges added on.
Fuel and environmental fees. Percentage add-ons applied at invoicing rather than quoted up front.
None of these are necessarily dishonest. They are just structures, and they make apples-to-apples comparison hard unless you ask. So ask. When you call anyone, including us, the question worth asking is: what is the total I will pay if I fill this container and keep it for the length of my project?
What actually drives the cost
Size. The main lever, and the reason it is worth sizing honestly rather than ordering the biggest one available. See what size dumpster you actually need.
Material. Most household and construction debris is straightforward. Dense material behaves differently: roofing tear-off is heavy for its volume and is worth mentioning when you book so nobody is surprised. Concrete, soil, brick, and rock we do not take at all.
Distance. We serve a wide area across Stanislaus and San Joaquin counties. Our pricing does not change by city, but how quickly we can get there does. Places on our regular route can often be same-day. Longer runs get scheduled honestly rather than promised optimistically.
Is a dumpster cheaper than junk removal?
Sometimes, and it depends on what your own time is worth.
A dumpster is usually the lower number on paper when you have a large volume and you are doing the loading yourself over several days. You are trading labour for cost, and if the debris is generated gradually rather than sitting in a pile, the container is genuinely the right tool.
Junk removal is often the better value when the pile already exists, when the heavy awkward items are the actual problem, or when you want it gone today. Our crew loads, hauls, and sweeps in one visit, and there is nothing sitting in your driveway afterward.
For a lot of single-room jobs, the two land closer together than people expect once you account for the weekend you spend loading. Compare them side by side.
Getting an honest number
Call or text (209) 289-5650 and describe the project: what is coming out, roughly how much, the address, and when you want to start.
You will get the size we would bring and the price before anything is dispatched. If we think the smaller container covers it, we will tell you that instead of selling you up.
